Step 1:

Get the Basics Ready

Before we roll, make sure you’ve got the essentials: JDK, Maven, Git, and your favorite IDE (we recommend IntelliJ IDEA).

Step 2:

Clone Your Sample Project

You can either clone the repository using Git or download it as a ZIP file.

Step 3:

Open & Set Up in IntelliJ IDEA

Open your cloned project in IntelliJ. The IDE will detect it as a Maven project. It will auto-import dependencies or you can click “Load Maven Changes”.

Step 4:

Start Writing (or Running) Tests

Your project already includes sample test files and runners — just hit Run and watch your first automated test come to life.
